Summary: It has been resulted the evaluation of the significance of biological and social hygienic risk factors of the diseases of kidney and urine tracts. The most significant from the biological factors are hereditary predisposition, allergic diseases, suffered acute respiratory viral infections, tonsillitis and also ages 50-59. The basic hygienic risk factors are the absence of hot water and heating in habitation, a low level of education, belongingness to a working profession, chilling microclimate, an influence of chemical substances, a preference of savory food, uncontrolled acceptation of therapeutic agents.

Summary: The existing specification of accumulation firm household dust on one inhabitant and the delayed export of dust from containers results to pollution of territories of the occupied places, formation of the non-authorized dumps, and increase of a share of unsatisfactory tests of ground not appropriate to the hygienic specifications. Is established, that the constant contact with firm household dust negatively influences a condition of health of the workers of municipal services.

Summary: Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), von Willebrand factor (vWF) and fibrinolytic activity were measured in 48 patients with subclinical hypothyroidism (SH) and 24 controls. In patients with SH significant increase of PAI-1-activity was discovered while the vWF-level did not differ from the control group. Normalization of PAI-1-level was obserwed in SH patients after L-thyroxine therapy.
